About

Healing begins where courage
meets care.

Dr. Fahmida Alam is a Clinical Oncologist and Assistant Professor at Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where she leads radiotherapy planning, cancer counselling, and palliative care for patients across south-eastern Bangladesh.

Her training spans the full continuum of cancer care — from precise radiation delivery to the gentle work of pain control and end-of-life support, refined through a fellowship in Palliative Care at the Institute of Palliative Medicine in Kerala, India.

Beyond the chamber, she is a frequent speaker at national oncology forums and writes regularly to translate complex cancer medicine into language patients and families can use.
